Description
Gleason (USA) Number 12-B Straight Bevel Gear Generator in excellent working condition. The machine is a Double-cam type machine suitable for Roughing as well as for Finishing. The predominant feature of the machine is the ability to localise the bearings on the gear teeth. This is achieved by replacing the usual clapper box method of providing relief by a cam controlled,positive advance & withdrawal of the tools.The technical details of the machine is as follows -
